Why should I wear the TOUR BELT Lumbar Support?
If you suffer from back pain or a "stiff back" the TOUR BELT will help relax the muscles so you will feel relief. It will also help to prevent the onset
of muscle stress and strain due to fatigue from repetitive activities. It will help you to maintain proper posture.
When should I wear the TOUR BELT?
Wear your TOUR BELT before, during or after a round of golf to help minimize muscle strain or quickly reduce muscular backache.
How long can I wear the TOUR BELT?
You may wear the TOUR BELT throughout the golf round or for as long as the activity lasts.
How do you wear the TOUR BELT?
1. Simply position the wide part of the belt against your back. 2. Overlap and attach the ends in front for a snug fit. 3. Using the aspirator squeeze in
as much air as feels comfortable.
Does the TOUR BELT make you stronger?
The TOUR BELT does not make you stronger. It is there to reinforce training as well as to help maintain the flexibility of the muscles in the lower back.
Does the TOUR BELT restrict mobility?
No, the TOUR BELT does not interfere with the back's range of motion since all muscle groups are allowed to function while wearing it. Movements such as
forward bending or flexion, back bending or extension, side bending or rotation are fully possible. The TOUR BELT provides effective support in virtually
all positions: seated, bending, squatting, lifting or standing.
Does wearing the TOUR BELT mean muscles can become over relaxed?
No, the pressure (static stretch) provided by the Air Belt will relax muscles only to the degree that they assume their normal resting length.
Can wearers become too dependent on the TOUR BELT?
The TOUR BELT will create no mechanical event in the musculature which will create a dependency. The prolonged or continual use of the belt will not create
a dependency. The primary design criteria of the TOUR BELT was to develop a belt that does not inhibit an individual's range of movement.
Is it better to wear the TOUR BELT over or under clothing?
The TOUR BELT will provide the same basic support in either case so this can be personal preference. Technically having the interconnected air chambers closer
to the skin should provide a more effective massaging action to the muscles.
How do I wash the TOUR BELT?
We recommend hand washing with a mild detergent and air dry.
Should I consult my doctor before using the TOUR BELT?
The TOUR BELT is only a support belt and should not be considered a remedy for back problems. If you are under the care of a health practitioner, consult
with them before using your TOUR BELT. The TOUR BELT will not guarantee freedom from all back strain. It is strongly recommended to stretch before any exercise.
How would I inflate the TOUR BELT?
The aspirator is a rectangular pouch on the right hand side of the TOUR BELT. To inflate the belt your palm should cover the opening in the pouch and your
fingers grip from the opposing side. Then squeeze and release repeatedly and you should see and feel the belt inflating. Eight to ten repetitions should
fully inflate the belt. To release air, depress the valve immediately above the aspirator. Pressure can be adjusted to your personal comfort.
